Request for USACA Extra-Ordinary General Body Meeting
My dear fellow League Presidents,
Further to the successful CLP meeting held in Dallas and the proposed Extra Ordinary meeting scheduled to be held on June 4, 2005 (as per the decision of the CLP meeting), we need a written request from 35% of the member clubs of USACA sent to the secretary in order to have the Extra ordinary General Meeting.
Therefore, I have prepared a draft letter that you may have your respective clubs use as a template and the same may be e-mailed to the Secretary of USACA, Mr. Bobby Refaie via e-mail : smxrefaie786@yahoo.com or by fax: 1-832-351-3631 or US mail to - Mr. Bobby Refaie, 3002 East side street, Houston, TX - 77098
Those of you that attended the meeting in Dallas had some excellent comments and suggestions for the short term and long term improvements in USACA governance and US Cricket in general. Based on these suggestions I have proposed the agenda as listed below.
Please note that the request for the meeting has to reach the office of the secretary no later than April 29, 2005 for a 35 day notice.
In addition, the Board of Directors of USACA, as per their meeting on 4/16/2005, (see announcement on
www.usaca.org) have formally announced the process of appointment of new Executive officers of USACA and accordingly, nominations are now being sought for the various executive positions. The last date to receive nominations is May 7, 2005.
Sincerely,
Polam Veman Reddy
Chairman,
Council of League Presidents
Please circulate this draft letter to your member clubs and encourage them to file the letter with the Secretary of USACA, Mr. Bobby
Rafaie.
With regards,
Polam Veman Reddy
